Thanks guys, but when faced with a door with Chinese signs plastered all over it, it gets a bit daunting to get the phone out to see what’s being offered……..plus the pull of pushing the bell!

Anyhow, what’s the etiquette when faced with a door that has does not have one of the those ‘welcome/please wait’ signs? I’ve had mixed response when ringing these bells; some have answered, I’ve heard shuffling inside, and have had no answers.
