So I've ventured up a few walkups in the Kowloon area (Foremost, KSM, a few of the smaller ones on Tai Nan St and Shanghai St in PE), an overwhelming experience to say the least (with all the WGs and pink/purple lights) that is not helped with not being able to read Chinese on the signs on the door.

I can make out some simple words such as 'new girl' and 'mouth x', and of course '69'.....and I guess all the 'F's and 'G's are related to cup sizes, but do you guys have any tips? Do you awkwardly get your phone out and Google camera translate?


I see some listings as 'no full service' and 'negotiable', but don't want to stumble into these places by mistake assuming I'd get the whole service.

While living in HK decadeS, I do NOT speak 1 word of Chinese, Mandarin or Cantonese.

IT DEPENDS. You have to "read the pictures" and make an educated guess, then it's $ and LB on the line.
Even in 100% veggie Thai massage places, after a good number of visits, nice tipping,...,many masseuses (most) went the extra mile when feeling that
1) It would be stealth, 2) Worth it $, 3) And ...DO WANT IT (not having sex often).
So practice makes "perfect".


141 Walk-Up:
In ~2008....it was Kiki in CWB (little English), then Jasmine (decent English so easy) and since I have seen ladies who DO NOT SPEAK 1 word of English
(they are learning some words; not me); my most extreme case (because of the time spent with her, IN her room or outside) is Phoenix BO BO, JA,

yesterday I asked one 141 Walk-Up (good English) to CALL others (ZERO English) to give them advices (from me) how to solve the barrier language with me. She did!
That defies gravity but the first one did not feel threatened about her status with me...and saw the help to others as a way to make me happier, and is damned right.
So, in a CERTAIN WAY (not every guy; different guys, different style), when you have REGULARS and FAVOURITES...and if it is clear (WHO, ORDER, FREQ) to others, it could make things much easier.
Many among those ladies are smart and/or grateful, that is something to factor in.
Anyway that is my OWN experience and over years it was very smooth.

Thanks guys, but when faced with a door with Chinese signs plastered all over it, it gets a bit daunting to get the phone out to see what’s being offered……..plus the pull of pushing the bell!

Anyhow, what’s the etiquette when faced with a door that has does not have one of the those ‘welcome/please wait’ signs? I’ve had mixed response when ringing these bells; some have answered, I’ve heard shuffling inside, and have had no answers.

To be honest, the only sign you need to be able to read is welcome versus please wait. Most of those signs on those doors are bullshit and just used to attract newcomers or build up unrealistic expectations. Depending on the place those signs aren’t even written by the person currently occupied in the room. All you really need to know is the general rate for standard FS for the building and just remember most extras will come with an additional fee. If you’re not certain is FS is available in the building, just ask the woman before entering. If it’s generally a massage only place, you probably won’t end up wanting FS with anyone working in that building anyway as they’ll usually be older and less appealing.

What’s the best time to visit walkup buildings?

I mainly go around 2-2.30pm when I ‘think’ most WGs have just about started (I see some advertise as 24hrs or start earlier from 11am to 1pm), and whilst it’s not too busy with other bros walking around, I find most doors are ‘please wait’. I went to KH around 3:30pm once and the queue for the lift was nearly out of the building.

I’m guessing 6pm onwards (after work) will be a nightmare with not much choice at all.
