I think the reasoning behind "one liners" rules have transformed over the years

The biggest problem is what we call it … "one liner"

The original intent was to rid this forum of replies that did not contribute towards that thread and to prevent members from gaining Ks by saying : thanks or I will visit her or anything along those lines
One single word reply was acceptable as long as it contributed towards that thread

It's now ten years down the road, maybe the present  membership should discuss with the mods on what a "one liner" actually means these days so a consistent rule can be agreed to before one negs someone for replying with a "one liner"
