I like Eden Hotel in Central on Wellington Street. It's not a far walk from LKF or SOHO, but not sure what kind of stealth mode you are in VS time you have.

The place is clean and comfortable. I've used it a few times.
If you are based in HK side and have lots of time on your hands and want to get as far away from potential HK side folks, Kwung Tong is a nice faraway area but as others side it's a walk, maybe easier to drive or taxi. It also fills up quickly. I once spent an hour going from hotel to hotel all were booked up on a weekend evening (mid-week probably not a problem, I haven't had trouble mid-week there).
If you need a quick rush to a hotel with only an hour or so to spare and need to stay on the island: Eden Hotel in central, wan chai Hotel Vic, or Tin Hau Hotel Vic. | |
