Advice on threat/scam
I'm not sure if this is the right section but would appreciate some advice.
I am living in China currently. Last night, I went on QQ found someone nearby and sent a message. Gave them a call and they asked for my address which I gave them. I'm still not entirely familiar with the workings of China yet. So the agent on the other side of the call said I have to sent money to him through bank transfer and then the girl will be sent to my home. I forward him the money and called. He then said that I have to forward him additional money for some BS and I declined and said forget about it. He then got threatened me that if I don't send him the money he will come to my address to harm me. Now, I know I was stupid for agreeing to the transfer and will refrain from using my home address in the future as well. So, my main question is if I should take the threat seriously or just consider it as another scam tactic. How should I approach this? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks. | |
