Point well taken re: foreigners but why does a new anti-foreigner category appear (for the first time of any online service in HK based on my knowledge / experience) after many, many years of sex41 and a host of other similar online sites? And, again, who is the "foreigner"...if it's all about GDS and general racism related to stereotypical and/or perceived variations among different types of human beings then is one to assume Koreans, Japanese, Vietnamese, Mongolians, etc do or don't qualify as foreigners? What about some big fellla from Haerbin who's hung like Chinggis Khaan? If GDS is the excuse, then we all need to register the sizes of our penises (erect and non-erect, of course) on sex141 so the girls can filter properly for GLDS (ie, Gweilo-like Dick Syndrome so as to capture the offending East Asians who have large dicks and therefore are "Gweilo-like" and clear those "Gweilos" who actually have smaller dicks).
But, returning to the question of restrictive (and illegal) moves against online and print, it makes me question what type of steps the forces behind such steps might be taking in monitoring online activity (incl this forum). I mean, if they're bothering to shut down light porn sites of Chinese girls (again, in another racial twist, most non-Chinese porn sites are left unblocked in HK and Macau even if hardcore but ones showing simple - dare I say, artistic - nudity of Chinese girls like sepai.cc have had content completely erased in the last few months) then I would find difficult to imagine they aren't actively monitoring this site and forum....and god knows what kind of info they're able to gather re: users. I don't know much about IT but I do know the PRC public security bureau delves deep into those online arenas which the gov't directs them to target....and it seems sexual content is being targeted not only in the PRC (that's old news...though it's interesting how much you can pull up if you use Chinese characters rather than Roman alphabet which is severely proscribed in the Mainland) but also HK and Macau (that, I think, is perhaps not new but appears to be becoming quietly more intense). | |
