One Saturday afternoon I was just getting done after a nice visit to a li'l hunny out in TST and was just getting dressed ready to go.
I had my phone in my pants pocket and I guess i must have accidentally and immediately answered a phone call that was coming in....all without even an inkling that I was then "live" as the phone never even rang before my accidentally picking it up.
Anyway, as luck would have it, it was of course my SO on the other line and she had of course continued to listen. Anyway by the time I checked my telephone and realized that I was "Live" - which must have been at least 15 minutes afterwards - I really thought my goose was well and truly cooked!
I got on that blower and she was asking me who the hell I was with and why I was speaking in my broken Putonghua. Thank my lucky stars that when I left that morning, I had told her that I was going out to TST to meet up with business associates from the PRC and that I may be a bit late coming home as I probably need to also play host to his family! (I needed the time as this particular hunny was across the harbour in Kowloon - thus needing a rather extended period away that week-end!)
