For me, it's intelligence and a sense of humour, so a shared language helps enormously. Someone who laughs and makes me laugh, while also giving and receiving pleasure, like Angel, Emmanuel, Tiffany, Colour and Gaile, jangles all my bells. Coldness and impatience ('Hurry up and come and give me the $$') leave me cold.
