One of my prior walkup regulars I would see about once a week and one time I went to see her and as I approached her door it was open and she was getting a delivery from McDonald's. She very kindly shared with me her lunch although I told her that she should eat all herself. Thereafter, I would stop and bring her lunch from McDonald's (french fries, chicken nuggets, and a Sprite). She loved it, would bring some for myself as well.
Other times I would see her and there was a fairly good bakery on the street level and I would bring her an assortment of Hong Kong specialities: pineapple buns, milk buns, coconut tarts, egg tarts and some soy milk . This went on for months and it really was like she was a mistress  as I walked out the door and saw the next punter waiting it always reminded me that she was just some poor WG supporting her family .
I have never brought anything to the brothel girls, although I got so close to some of them I probably should have.
