Absolutely. This thread has got me thinking though... Are asian men really going to be left with that leftover white women who should be with the white man who instead has chosen an asian women? The fact is, the gender ratio is 1.06. This leaves 6 extra men for every 1 women (which may not get a partner). So, say out of those 6 men, 2 white men decide to go with asian girls. This produces a defficiency of asian women for asian men. However, since there are already atleast 4 extra men these asian men do not get that "leftover" white woman. In summary, considering the gender inequality; white men are going for asian women at a rate not enough to eliminate the gender ratio and produce a surplus of white women for asian men. Hence, we do not see as many "Asian Guys and White Girls". | |
