Come on, this really doesn't add up! First the whole Sichuan area has the reputation for hot women and CQ got its reputation because it was part of it, not the other way round. In fact the Chengdu area is more renowned for hot women because it is generally considered as a place of good fengsui.
Secondly, and this the more important point. As you said, CQ's population growth from 200,000 to over 4 million in a matter of few years. How on earth did several thousands beautiful mistresses and concubines multiply to a few millions???? Some kind of genetics experiment conducted by the KMT?  | |
