In 2009, I spent about 2000 RMB on my first trip to China and an additional 2500 HKD on that same trip. On my second trip, I spent about 2300 HKD (limited because my whole family came along). In the US, I average about 700 USD a month over 10 months? So 7000 USD or 50k HKD. If I were in HK, I would probably end up spending less and getting more. So my total for 2009 would be about 58000 HKD. As for 2010, I predict about the same more or less, this year only 1 trip to China/HK... if I am lucky then 2 trips.
