Bros, do you keep a tally of how much you spend? Do you have a ball park idea of what you spent in 2009? Do you have a budget for 2010? Do you set a weekly / monthly budget? for those not living in HK perhaps a trip budget? My guess is in 2009 I spent somewhere in the range of HK$45 - HK$50K. I think 2010 will be similar. Of course, I'm not suggesting that anyone disclose that. I'm only saying that it would be interesting. I'm a cheapskate and more a voyeur and talker than a participant in this WG stuff, so my total 2009 WG expenditure was around 3000 HKD, and of that, my 4Q 2009 expenditure on WG was exactly 0 (hence the lack of recent reports from me, hence my chattering in the non-report forums here). I salute those of you who have done much more for consumer spending than I have.

Since everything was spent in Thailand, if I had to include the flight fares, hotels, and everyday expenses during my different trips, it would be more, of course. Let's say 1200 Eur for 2009 and  1600 Eur for 2010 so far. I don't think I would spend more this year because I'm a bit hard up. I wish I could spend a yearly budget between 6000 Eur and 8000 Eur. This is a lot of money, but that's the amount I would need to really enjoy this hobby and spend more time with the girls than on forums. Nonetheless, I can't afford. I'm just a low earner.  So, I plan on spending about 3000 Eur, a year, on this activity when my finances are no more in the red. #11 Post at 15-3-2010 08:25  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L In 2009, I spent about 2000 RMB on my first trip to China and an additional 2500 HKD on that same trip.  On my second trip, I spent about 2300 HKD (limited because my whole family came along).  In the US, I average about 700 USD a month over 10 months? So 7000 USD or 50k HKD.  If I were in HK, I would probably end up spending less and getting more.  So my total for 2009 would be about 58000 HKD.  As for 2010, I predict about the same more or less, this year only 1 trip to China/HK... if I am lucky then 2 trips.
