Getting pics to appear where you want them

For those who have been asking me how to get pics to appear within the text of your report, rather than all at the end of the report...

Using the "aid" thing to set position of attachments

1. After you have posted your report with pics attached in the normal way, click [Edit] to edit your post. You will see a column next to your attachments called "aid" (no idea what it stands for) which shows some numbers.

2. Mouse-over a number and you will see a tooltip saying "Click here to place the attachment at the cursor location in the post". This does exactly what it says (which is amazing for an old forum engine like ours!)

3. Go to your text, click to place the cursor where you want the pic to appear, then click on the "aid" number for that image. The number will be inserted at the position of the cursor, together with the [attach] Discuz! code.

4. Once you're done placing your pics, click "Edit Post".

5. You may need to refresh your browser manually after that to get the pics to appear in the positions you chose.
