Welcome - it's people who take the trouble to speak up like you who make this forum.
Which brings up your point 3. - the mods are just people who signed up like you and me - guys who care about the forum. They rely on all of us to keep the forum as good as it is.
and your point 4. the issue is some people DO fake reports, either to gain reading access, or to boost their ego, or some other bizarre reason, but they do
so to your point 1. the reality is the quality of information here is outstanding, which means the readers DO believe what is written, which in turn means any false information is doubly harmful: harmful to the reader, and it destroys the value created by the honest posters who worked hard to make it useful
Obviously point 1 and 3 combined means your point 2 - we should all be concerned. Who wants to read useless drivel? Hey bro: why are you here? Obviously because you recognise the quality of what you've seen here (duh).
So your point 5 - at last I agree something you said!  - yes we greatly appreciate any kind of contribution. Stories, report, even fake reports - just make sure they're posted in the right place, and make clear what is fact, what is fiction, and what's just an opinion.
