Ear cleaning?

I've seen a few ad's that offer extra services such as ear cleaning. Has anyone got any experience with this? I'm kind of intrigued as this is not something that's offered in my home country. Thoughts?

I would be careful of this.
There is the candle method where it draws out the ear wax, or it could be the one where they stick a small thin brass or stainless scoop (spoon) into your ear canal and scrape out the earwax. One wrong move or slip of the fingers and you could have a punctured ear drum.
