Bros talk about being aware of B&S, upsell, etc. But from the WG perspective, what are the economics involved?

I'm sure popularity and scaling up the business based on the number of punters play a role. How much does it cost to rent out one of those rooms in, say, Fuji vs Kam Bong?

For the walk-ups, how much money would they be taking in on a bad vs good day? And how does this compare to a typical office-type salary? Is it possible for a WG to make a good living?

Similarly, for hotel walk-ins, how much are the girls making per day or month? Agents get a cut, naturally.

What other considerations are involved, such as marketing costs?

I know a sauna girl for 10 years and she makes on average $100k per month. She has moved many sauna places like VIP, Oriental Palm Springs etc…  She knows how to upsell like making many more $$$ for hotel visits instead of sauna

I recently talked to a WG, she has 500k in stocks and another 500k in cash. not to mention that she's got a flat in SZ.

she also told me she can get around 5-6k a day, even during her period, I.e. only by massage, hj,  bj.

So many factors to this. I've met WGs that were doing this on the side to their main jobs to supplement additional income. I've also met WGs that were wealthier than I was and have everything on lock.

That said, I've also met a crazy WG that was flat broke and kept pestering me for money after the fact.

In depth answer to your question:

I think if they want to, they can make a heck of a lot of money. What it depends on is lifestyle.

Some WGs I know have bought land in their home country worth hundreds of thousands of dollars over time. (Very goal driven, planning for the future.)

Others have made at least $25000 (or more) in a weekend and then dropped most of that in a single shot on a piece of jewellery. (No goals, life could end tomorrow.)

One theme I’ve noticed is living hand to mouth: even if buying land or stocks, or blowing it on lifestyle, there’s not a lot of money kept on hand. Some of them also party extremely hard and drop a lot of cash in a night.

One WG we all loved circa 2000 was in HK for 3-4 months. I saw her 9 times including taking her a small birthday cake one day when I learned she was celebrating alone. She shared a lot with me. About halfway through her visit she divulged she’d just transferred HK$400,000 to Thailand for her mum and kept $100k on hand. She told me she always lived her life expecting to be arrested at anytime for not having a working visa, regardless of what country she was in. Her priority was making sure her family in Thailand always had money and she didn’t worry too much about herself.

Main issue would be maintaining an erection throughout the day, I think. Viagra or Cialis would be an essential prerequisite. Younger guys would be able to handle better of course.
