Hong Kong - A Hong Kong teenager who robbed seven prostitutes at knifepoint, in some cases after having had sex with them, was jailed for six years Thursday. Li Ka-chun, 18, carried out a series of robberies in June 2008 in inner-city flats where the prostitutes worked by themselves.

He admitted seven robberies and was jailed at a hearing in Hong Kong's High Court Thursday by judge Gareth Lugar-Mawson who told him his crimes were very serious.  The case comes just two months after a jobless Hong Kong man who repeatedly slept with prostitutes and then tied them up and robbed them was jailed for nine years.

Chong Kwonk-hung, 24, admitted stealing hundreds of dollars from four prostitutes he slept with between October 2006 and June last year.  Pressure groups representing sex workers have been calling for a change to a Hong Kong law which allows women to operate as prostitutes only if they work in a flat on their own.

In 2008, four prostitutes were murdered in the space of three days in their flats. A suspect was later arrested and charged with three of the killings.

Well at least there is justice in HK , in that in the UK a similar thing happened (though instead of tying them up he beat the crap out of them) and was given 12 months probation.

There is an increasingly alarming trend here in the past year, WG seem to be targeted more frequently than ever before, or maybe they've just become smart enough to report it.

Bro Kennichi I find your story about the girls in UK getting beating and the man getting only 12 months probations to be troubling.  I think beating a girl is a far greater crime than stealing from one.  That guy should get far more than 12 months surely more than the 6 years this 18 year old got.

Hotel gals as well.
Just heard from some hotel gals that they were also the target during this bad economy.
Robber(s) pretend to be customer, walk in room and then steal from the gals.......

that is just dodgy man.. unreal...     god punish those guys whom rob the ppl who give us the most pleasure in the world......

Yeah, vicious economy as I mention before. The jobless, triad and criminal target these poor gals all the time, since they know there is not a chance the hotel gals (on tourist visa) will report the case to the authority since they know what they are doing is illegal as well.............

theres another incident at fuji i read that three guys wanted a foursome with a girl on the 14th floor but got turned down and started causing troubles fortunately no one was seriously hurt!
