I met Fah on ThaiFriendly , an incredibly lovely normal girl that had never been married and worked in her family's restaurant in Surin   She has the most incredible smile. We chatted for over a month before I came to BKK in November for business.  Her older  sister lives in BKK so she came to visit her and we three had a nice dinner together on Soi 11, then went to Hillary 2 on Soi 4 Nana.  A lot of drinking, dancing and flirting, however, sadly she ended up going home with her sister.  I left BKK the next day, but we promised to stay in touch and meet again on my next trip.

The unfortunate part of the story comes now.  I stay in touch with her on LINE, and last week she told me she went again to BKK to see her sister.  She also told me that she went for an interview to be a model working trade shows in Asia for a car company.  Apparently the guy she met was Japanese or Korean, and the interview was in a suite in a hotel on Sukhumvit.  She shared some of the photos he took during the interview, and she was wearing a skimpy outfit he gave her.  She was honest and said that he asked for no bra and no panty lines in the photos. That, and the fact that he was holding interviews in a hotel should have been a big red flag.  Several of the photos seemed a bit on the sensual side, and when I pressed her she admitted that she let him touch her, and that she eventually screwed the guy in the interview.  Wow.  I'll spare the details on how he seduced her, but wow.

I don't know if I am writing this as a way to vent, or as a general warning.  This girl is honestly as innocent as possible, far from a bar girl or freelance, yet it still happened.  Be careful when getting close to a lady in Thailand, always remember it is still Thailand.

Keeping in touch with a civvie long distance is already tough enough... keeping in touch with a civvie in a country known for whoring is definitely not going to be any easier...

Thai girls aren't exactly known for being the smartest/savvy.

So generally id just say that if you're going to get into a WG or a civvie in a foreign country... either be there long enough to get what you want out of the situation... and if not there long enough... keep expectations bare minimum.

Just like anywhere else, if shes attractive, there's always going to be dudes trynna fuck her.

She was definitely honest about it, told me everything.  I am not sure manipulated is the right word, but definitely seduced her. From what she described he was very smooth about it.  Complimenting her looks and her body and went from there.

Yes, we had been talking for 5 or 6 weeks, things seemed to be going well and I think we were heading as a couple.  Simple reason she told me the details is because I pressed her.  I really wanted to know how it happened  Be careful what you wish for.  We are still in touch, although things obviously different.  We will see what happens

That said maybe you were a bit more committed to this than she was. What makes me say that is she was still taking messages on thaifriendly but if she was serious with you I'd have expected her to delete the profile so she never would have got seduced by this guy.

I'm still a bit surprised she told you though. You would never have known if she kept it a secret. Did she say how much he paid her or if she has been paid for hookups before?

To look at this from the other side it sounds a lot like many of the thaifreindly reviews on here and other sites. Also in thailand it seems many girls see nothing wrong with getting paid sex jobs when they have a boyfriend or husband.

I don't know the company.  She said it was a company that provides models for conventions and trade shows, but at this point I really don't think it was actually a company.

She told me what she was paid, but it was when I was in shock about what she was telling me and I don't really remember. I think it was 1000, maybe even less.  We are still in touch and still talking about meeting on my next trip. We'll see.

Sex in exchange for money or benefits is not really taboo in Thai culture. That’s why Thai girls makes such great pros - very little shame & inhibitions. I choose to see the positive side of that and simply enjoy the ladies.

I think in order to really fit in with the Thais is to not see the world in stark black & white or tit for tat terms that is the norm in western societies. This is a give & take culture where compromise, compassion, forgiveness  are required.

UPDATE  She let me know today she actually got the job, will be working a show in BKK end of March. I am frankly surprised that it was an actual company she interviewed for.  She didn't know the name of the show, but I Googled and see there is the Bangkok International Motor Show starting March 27th. Guessing that is it.  

Also, she let me know she had her period, and had a health check and all is fine. Good to hear that.

Adding here that the OP brought the girl and her sister to the sex tourist hotspots being Soi 11, then went to Hillary 2 on Soi 4 Nana. Why would any normal guy bring a regular girl to these places for a date?
