I've only begun punting for less than a year (and begun having sex at all for that matter), as you all could tell from my limited post history. I've only ever been with a few WGs, a couple of escorts, etc.
And now I'm going through an outbreak of what looks to be herpes. This kinda sucks because its something I never expected, really. Some of the other STDs probably, at least it'd be curable.
My doctor did a blood test, and it came back negative. But I had read (and my doc tells me I read and overthink too much) that blood tests for herpes aren't effective early after first infection, as there is possibly a lack of antibodies.
He reassured me again, but this time I'll find a specialist to get it looked at better.

I've read the stigma that herpes is not all that bad, after your initial outbreak, there's a good chance you don't see one for a good amount of time. It still sucks, though. I guess this means my punting time is over, knowlingly going around with herpes in my body doesn't
feel very nice. There was a bit of copium that I could sneak it by, but moral compass exists. I don't want to ask who or how many of you have herpes or "Oh, it's not so bad, you overestimate its power..." but some feedback in general would be nice.
