As for vibe in Tijuana has been fine since post COVID.  The price for food, hotel, beer, chick and essential stuff has got up . Just like rest of the world.  I have gone to Tijuana several times during post COVID . I always park my car in San Diego.  Across the border. As for cartel & police.. well, do not make yourself catch attention.  Follow the rules. Don't get drunk and act like dumb foreigner.  Remember, you are visiting their country.  Cartel will leave you alone. Red light district in Tijuana where money is at. Respect law and rules. I have gone alone several times.   HK is still the best. Priced gone up. You will still get wonderful experience.  Safe travel bro!!

Damn, sorry to hear this.  Fortunately,  I usually lock my wallet  on my back pocket.  Put my pants or short front of him. By night stand.  I have phone, passport and money. My watch my stuff like a hawk. Im not staying behind Tijuana.

I second that. Definitely watch your stuff. I’ve had my wallet stolen before. Not a fun experience. Thankfully my passport wasn’t taken.
