First, some background on japan’s laws. Basically, vaginal sex is illegal, and most shops will have signs or on the website saying no intercourse or no sex, something along those lines. 1. Delivery health (deri-heru)
No incall available, but some may have a physical shop while others is by phone only. Basically you call them, or go to a shop to select a girl, then you go to an hourly hotel to wait for them to come, or the girl and you will go together. If you are far away from the shop, like if you are at the airport hotel and want to have a girl delivered, its possible, you just have to pay the taxi fee (heads up: taxis in japan are expensive). Tips on hourly hotels
You can find them everywhere in tokyo, especially in the red light districts. The entrance is usually hidden and you have to go around a corner or something to get in, this is to make things more discreet. These hotels can range from 1,000yen or so to upwards of 6,000yen for some fancy ones. There will usually be 2 prices posted outside near the entrance “rest” or “short” and “stay”, Rest or short is what you are looking for, it is the price for the shortest allowed time in the hotel, ranging from 1 to 2 hours usually. There are also a wide range of gimmicks or themes to be found, from normal rooms to sex dungeons to a rooom that looks like the interior of a train. When you go in, there will be either a machine with pictures of rooms on it, or a display of the rooms and a reception with a tiny hole where you can only see the receptionist’s hands. So pick a room number and pay the machine or say like “201 rest” and pay the receptionist, get the key and go up. There are a few hotels where the payment machine thing is inside the room and you put money in when you leave, the girl will help you with those usually.
2. Soaplands
My favourite type of shop, defiantly bucket list worthy experience. Dont ask me why but these shops are for some reason exempt from the “no vaginal sex” law (maybe yakuza?). Vaginal sex is the standard service at these places, you dont have to ask. Also high concentration of deri-heru and love hotels. Many restaurants and shops around. Most shops here dont have physical shops i think, so calling only, may have harder time if you dont speak japanese.
Yoshiwara
Soapland capital of tokyo, on the east side near Ueno and Asakusa. Its quite far away and not in a touristy district, not many shops and restaurants nearby. You have to make time to go there. This place has a long history of being “the brothel district” of japan, like for several hundreds of years i think. Soaplands ranging from budget to premium here, and are generally more foreigner and non japanese speaking friendly because the rooms are inside their shop, so any problems they can protect the girls.
