Read a recent report about Gold spa being the next best place sans FS, I went on a Sunday evening.

Started by calling multiple times, no answer, got my edible ready and drove to the location.

I used to lived in Alameda for 10+ years, and can guarantee there's been nothing amazing, especially not FS (at least on the Park side). There was a brief period at Ocean spa where a mid 20's or so Chinese girl was around, but she was only passing through for less than a month. Other than that, expect the usual MMS. I'm not sure if they did actually get spooked by you. I think at Gold it took me a second visit to get a R&T, but you can usually get one at Ocean as well (just one block over) - perhaps YMMV as I speak Chinese. I haven't been back in 5+ years, so I'm not super up to date, but I can't imagine anything drastic has changed.

Been there twice, MMS types both times, tugs both times for a $40 tip. I remember paying $50 for the massage and it was fine. I have also heard there were young girls there, but I doubt it.

Best legit massage plus ending is Float and Fitness in Concord imo, but that's a bit far if you're based out of Alameda.
