Have been to Zaigon before, but this is my first full review. One of many discreet spas in Jakarta that is advertised and listed as a restaurant and lounge.
Decided to head up to the (in)famous Mangga Besar, having read a few reviews here and there on ISG. Was a gloomy evening, and needed some release. The location is quite easy to find on Google Maps, so I took a grab bike to the place. You can follow them on
Instagram, to see a list of 'waitresses' available. The roster changes everyday, so you have an idea of who is available. You could choose to also book them ahead of time through Whatsapp.
I am quite wary of using Whatsapp for such things, and decided to head down there and choose my waitress. I had shortlisted, 69, 72, 59, 55 & 33, with 69 being my first choice. Once there, the reception hands you a wristband that you need to keep during your stay and any additional charges such as drinks or food get charged to it. After collecting the band, I head into the lounge where the bartenders and waiters were loudly watching a World Cup game.
There is a roster board which has the numbers of girls printed on pins. There are 3 categories on the board that I could see - available, rooms and booked. The ones that were available was the list I could choose from. Once an available girl is chosen, the pin is marked to the room assigned to her. In case any of the girls have been pre-booked, they fall under the booked category, and hence not available.
The mamasan comes over with a tablet to show pictures of the girls to help you make your decision. I had already decided on 69, having visited the Instagram page earlier, and was delighted to see her on the available list. I asked for her immediately. That said, I was hoping this was not bait and switch, after having read so many reviews on this forum.
