... his name is Stevie Hoang from the UK and a lot of his music is really good.  Just google his name and you will see lots of stuff on this kid.  He writes, produces and sings his own songs.  I think he hit #1 in Japan already and the world is ready for a Chinese-Vietnamese musician/writer/producer of R&B.  This guy is going to make it big and Asians have his back big-time now.  He has already made it big in the UK and he is starting to spread into the states.  Pretty impressive if you ask me.  I just found it really cool that Asians are finally making it into the Western scene besides martial artists like Bruce Lee, Jacky Chan and Jet Li.  Even Chow Yan Fat tried to get in but it just doesn't work without the punches and kicks.  Yao Ming has to be the biggest pride and joy of the Asian NBA fans, now we have another dude breaking into something that the West has always kept Asians out of.  I just wanted to put this guy up to show because I feel proud of this kid.  He even opened for a few big stars at concerts already.  Asian pride.

There are some Asians in music; just not from Asia.  The Linkin Park DJ is Korean, the lead singer is half Japanese, the lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is Korean-American, Chad Hugo from the Neptunes with Pharell is Flip, and there are a couple others.

Good music knows no international boundaries anymore with the internet.  When you say he is with 14k, do you mean the UK 14k or the real 14k where he has to go back to HK to Jok Gwun in order to raise rank?  We have a 14k section (with a different name but still connected to HK) here on the east coast, mostly businessmen in Boston and NYC, the 14k on the west coast are a mess because of the intermingling of south east asian gangs, Latino gangs and Black gangs therefore they have pretty much lost all identity of 14k.  My dad tells me about the old school 14k in HK, funny stuff...
