Usually these girls all are one group. I think a new legislation (effective 2/28/2022?) is that you now have to register your identity with your sim.   I believe that you can't get a new burner sim anymore.  But for existing sim, we have until the end of the year or early next year to complete the registration. I have an unregistered sim and I tried to register recently.   To do that, I had to turn off wifi and use data.  I had over $1,000 in value in my sim but after about 30 sec of data roaming and without getting anywhere, it ran out of money. You only need to register real name with local sim cards.  How I efficient use the foreign sim card in Hk? - use data roaming from main phone. - bought an Internet WiFistick. PokeFi does wonders, locally and overseas. Data is flatrate and cheap in loads of countries.
