Punting options in Tijuana

Now, that I got you some basic information and how to get to Tijuana, you want to know your punting options before I got any further on things like lodging, food, and general safety.  The majority of the clubs are located barely a mile from the US border.  

This is the basics at every club.  To get in, you have a pat down search, a search through anything you may by carrying and through a metal detector.  If there is a cover, they will ask for it right there.  All the data does show Tijuana is the most dangerous city in the world, and it is the clubs best interest to keep everyone inside safe.  They do not have to patronize you if you are problem and they have a small army of people to show you the door.  Many girls do not have good English, so have your Google translate ready.  Watch for arm bands on girl wrists to show that they work there.  The WG will dress from scantly to club night out.  There are women who are not WG in the club.  It will not go well if you touch or proposition a patron.  You watch the show, give dollar bills to touch and hug and have a WG put her breasts in your face.  If you don’t want to do that, you walk and pick a girl you like, introduce yourself and ask if you can buy her a drink.  If she says yes, you find a table and wait staff will spot right away and take orders.  She hands the staff a card marking for every drink you buy and you basically get along.  Here you can pay to touch or get a lap dance or anything else that you can do in public. Eventually one of your initiates to the punt price and they will always start at $100.  At HKC, you are looking between $80 and $100 and everywhere else it is between $60 to $80.  You can try to negotiate down but on a crazy busy night, you will need her more than she needs you.  The girls know how much their cut on drinks are and weighs that against the punt price.  Do not assume, that they do not know how to negotiate and will do what they can to seduce as much money out of you.  Punt time is always 30 minutes unless you an negotiate for more time.  You should bring your own condoms, dental dams and, if you are particular about it, lube.  The hotel will overcharge you for these items. The WG save a couple of dollars if you bring your own contraceptives.  Given that every WG is CBJ on my trip, I am going to get flavored condoms, to see if that helps get some more enthusiasm on the CBJ.

Hong Kong Gentleman’s Club (https://hktijuana.com) and La Chavelas (https://laschavelasbar.com) – The Hong Kong Gentleman’s Club (HKC) owns both clubs and they are joining.  However, they operate different websites, promotions and reward programs.  HKC has a $60 membership program that gives 20% off the hotel it owns, Hotel Cascada, no cover charge on Saturday, first drink free and other benefits for $60.  They offer a shuttle service from the border to the club and back.  The HKC is very modern with strobe lights, stripers on the bars, the tables, a stage, a lesbian soap show and 2 lesbian hot tubs.  One section is three levels and the other two levels.  There are two entries and exit.  It has full beverage services and a section of bar foods from its restaurant Azul.  La Chevelas is a significantly smaller section with 2 bars and single one floor layout and two separate entries and exits.  This is a more Mexican style bar room with live musicians in the evening and enough room for people to dance a little.  WG can entertain on either side of the complex.  WG work in 8-hour shifts dictated by management.  The dancers start around 6PM and goes to about Midnight.  Between those hours it is wall to wall people and you have to squeeze anywhere to get anywhere.  While there is literally security everywhere you turn, because it is wall to wall people, you do want to keep a hand on your wallet.  There are people working everywhere so if you have an issue or question it is easy to find someone.  The music is loud, there is strong lighting and everywhere you turn there is always gorgeous WGs.  Every body type, height, weight, shape, hair color, and you name it you will find here.  You will find your 8, 9 or 10 rating WG somewhere in this place if you spend the time looking.  The punt price objective is $80 or less.  The reality about HKC, that on a Friday or Saturday night, there will be more men than WG at some point and you will want her than she needs you.  Also, I was told an odd thing, which I am still trying to sort out in my head on taking a WG for $240 for an overnight/day.  I am not sure if it is a bar fine or a price sharing between the girl and HKC.  It was a little vague and I want to vet this out more on the next visit just in case there is a WG that I really want more a date night out of.  We heard the same at Adelita Bar when we asked management and they were vague too.

After HKC, the economics scale become apparent.  HKC is the gold stand and economic bemouth of clubs and everyone is a hundred steps down.  I am shocked the other clubs are still around.

Adelita Bar is next to HKC and is one of the oldest clubs in Tijuana.  We did a quick walk through. It has a single stage with less than 50 girls.  The style of the bar is dated 1970s.  The girls are between a 4 and 7 on looks.  You are trying to keep the punt price $60 or under.

Tropical Bar (https://tropicaltijuana.com) is across the street from HKC.  It is a two-story club with the second story having a mini balcony seating.  The is a main stripper stage on the first floor and a mini stage on the second floor.  The first floor is dimly light and the second floor is very well lit.  There are bars on each floor.  There are close to 75 WG in the club ranging from 5 to 8 in looks.  There are a large variety of body types available.  The music alternates between English and Spanish from the 2000s.  The TVs all have sporting events on them.  The environment really is more sit and drink and party environment.  You can see people just looking for lap dances and drinking and singing with the WG.  You are trying to keep the punt $60 to $80.  They will need you more than you need them depending on the crowd.

Chicago Gentlemen’s Club is a half block from HKC.  I have read a bit about this as being the place after HKC to go to.  It looks fun on the outside but on the inside, it felt like a funeral home.  There is a single stage and extremely dim lighting.  Very dim lighting means they do not want you to get a clear look at the WG.  There are less than 50 WG.  We did a very quick in and out.  You want to keep a punt under $60.  They need you more than you need them.

D&G Bar Dolce & Gabbana is half a block of HKC as well.  They have a guy on the street trying to lure men in.  He says that if you like a girl you take a girl back to your room and just pay the Lyft price back, and that you can walk and look around and walk right out no harm.  We walk in on and see one stage, one bar and less than 20 WG and we walk on out.  If you want to punt here then do so at your own risk and try to keep it under $50.

La Malqueria is a block from HKC. We decided to check it out and walk to the door got ready for the security pat down, except there was no one there to pat us down.  The woman working the front door had to find the security to come pat us down.  This is clearly not a good sign at all.  After a few minutes, security comes and we go in.  Not even 10 WG and we didn’t bother walking through the rest.

There are some other clubs much further away from HKC, such as Déjà vu, Amnesia Men’s Club, New Body, Playboy Tijuana, and others.  If you are wondering if there a gay club scene, the answer is yes; such as, Club Fusion and Premier Men’s Club (but I am not checking those out for you).  Despite what you see on the websites, until you go into a place you really do not know what is really going on.

Lodging

There are lot of hotels in this city.  They go from $20 to $120 depending where you are and what kind of accommodations.  Doing some research, the lower end hotels are designed specifically for punting and if you don’t mind minimalism of conditions then you are all set.  The US brand names of Hyatt and Hampden Inn are available.  The best you can do are 4-star hotels.  There are no all-inclusive resorts.  You can get a casino/hotel such as the Grand Hotel Tijuana if you are looking for some close by entertainment.  Like all hotels, you have to check if there is a joiner fee and if it is allowed.

As for the 30-minute punting, if you take a WG from a club they have their own hotels.  The running price is $17 to $20, plus a towel fee $5 (if there is a towel) and a tip for the cleanup staff.  All WG need to check with the hotel security before entering and staff will knock after 30 minutes to get you out of there finished or not.  However, if you have your own room rented then you will not get the 30-minute knock.  As for streetwalkers, they stand right next to short term hotels.  You can see the down the hall of the streetwalker hotels and it screams either I will be robbed or catch some disease from being there.  You can go at your risk

The punting hotel I used was Hotel Cascada (https://hotelcascadas.com).  They have a very broad range of room from top floor $5,500 multi-room penthouse to a standard room for $75 to $90.  This is the HKC hotel, but you can bring outside WG.  There is a metal detector and pat down.  They take cash and all major credit cards but getting a room can be a negotiation.  My buddy is good at negotiations and I let him handle it.  The rooms are nice but very simple.  This is brothel, plain and simple.  If you are going to spend the night here, keep in mind the walls are thin and their staff is running around all night constantly caring for the short-term rooms.

Food and other activities

Believe it or not, the food is incredible and is very affordable.  I got a late-night restaurant of beans, meat and horchata (rice drink) for less than $4.  The higher end restaurants are rarely over $35 for the most expensive item, where in the USA it would be four times the price.  If you have a broad diet and likes to try new things you can get a full meal for under $10.  There is a gastropub scene, winery tours, and food tours.  Tijuana has a scattering of small casinos with sportsbook and poker.  There is a golf course, shopping and a beach.  Av. Revolución is the main road in downtown that you want to walk.  There are bars, non-strip clubs, restaurants, arts exhibits, etc.  If you are looking for a healthy day trip spa, you can find those and the majority of massage parlors are legit.  Most massage parlors are under $50, which is extremely affordable.  

NB Elite Men’s Spa (Av. Vía Rápida Pte. 4246, Zona Urbana Rio Tijuana, 22010 Tijuana, B.C., Mexico) is the only massage parlor with WG that I have found so far. I am sure there are others and I need to look for them.  I wrote a lot of reviews on this place.  It is in a strip mall that has a closed down nightclub and looks terrible, but the spa is immaculate inside.  NB has two prices for men spa services ranging from a manicure to a massage and package pricing.  They have a dry sauna, hot tubs, shower, etc.  The package has a WG along with one or more of the regular spa services.  There are between 3 and 8 WG available between 6 and 9 in looks.  I highly advise the place even just for the spa services.  There are not a lot men’s spas that cater to men’s care, such as facials.  Starting price for massage is higher than the market at $70 and the basic package is $160 for 30-minute WG, 40-minute massage plus access to dry sauna.  Finally if you go at night, do not leave until the Uber driver arrives.  This is not a good location for a non-local to be at night.
