I landed in Medellin on 11/30/19 and booked without accommodations and booked a room at a hotel called Ayenda 1235 Botero located in Centro Medellin for one night only. This is a crappy 3-star hotel hat costs $12/night, so I did not expect much. In Colombia, punters need to be careful to ensure their hotels/Airbnbs are girl friendly and this hotel is girl friendly. My first impression of Centro was not pleasant, though. The decay and poverty there were overwhelming, so I did not go out or punt my first night.
I booked much better accommodations in El Poblado near Lleras Park, which is a known location for freelances. I went to scope out Lleras Park at around 10PM. Talent in Lleras Park goes for $200k COP, but I did not see any talent worth that much, so for the second night in Medellin, I did not punt. I’d recommend going closer to 8PM to before all the best looking girls get taken.

There are maps you can download that shown you the location of an abundance of clubs and casas (brothels). Based on reviews, I decided on a place called New Life in Centro.
