Or a shift to non-gwailo customers like Annie -> Ming Ming? Had a bad rep under old name? So if the business has not been good in old their old name they come back with a new name. Often when they are working they use a name other than their real name, but sometimes their working name gets to be 'known' by their friends or family and they don't want that, so they change it.
