The “curtain bars” in Wan Chai are always a curiosity to me. One of the few places in HK you can clearly see who is working and make a careful selection. It’s a shame that these bars are a shadow of what similar bars are like in Thailand and elsewhere. The entertainment aspects are completely absent, girls never seem to dance despite the stages and poles. Instead they are more of a meat market where you can go to have someone sit on your lap while you burn through cash on expensive drinks and perhaps negotiate something else.

Despite all this, I find myself in these places from time to time

I’ve been to Club Venus a few times and have been generally pleased with the selection and vibe. It’s a super small place with very little privacy but the girls and their mammas are friendly, not too pushy and seem to all get along well.

I was entertaining some friends there one night and met Mika, your standard Pinay bar girl on a 6 month deployment to support her family back home. She must be in her mid-twenties, tight as a tiger with just enough soft spots in all the right places. She has a million dollar smile and ample bosom which belies her size. Her ass is also fantastic.

This is her second tour of duty in Hong Kong, and we chat for a while after we met. She doesn’t move too fast but after some time passes she is caressing me and pressing her chest into my face. It was enough to initiate further engagement.

We leave the bar after I drop a stupid amount of money and head to an hourly hotel nearby. Her attitude is great. She’s relieved to escape the bar, happy to be with me, and happy to be working for a little extra, and she puts on quite a show. We shower and hop into bed. The rooms are always freezing so we are quick to cuddle under the blankets and things escalate quite quickly.

CBJ which is expertly executed, and then straight to FS with mish, reverse cowgirl (she is a pro), doggie, and nearly every angle in between. The views of her from the front and back are heavenly and I am able to muster two shots in the hour we have. Afterwards we exchange numbers.

She won’t return to HK (or so she says), so I am sorry other bros can’t enjoy (save your money anyway). However, I thought the review would be useful for those curious about the bars in Wan Chai and that yes, you can have a pretty good time there but the cost is high.

In comparison, Macau is far more bang for your buck, but perhaps more difficult to develop chemistry with a working girl.

Great report, yes the Curtain Bars terribly expensive but the sessions are always great.  You are half right about the dancing, I would be amazed if there were not dancers on the stage while you were there - it is shit dancing but they always have dancers up because it is a condition of their licence and visas for all of the girls.  I’m yet to go into a Curtain Bar and not see anyone on the stage, mind you I’m yet to see any girl dance worth a damn!

The drinks are expensive but ST rate should be $1200 if you have bought drinks in the bar.  Well done on getting Mika to Monkey for you (That’s what the girls call a FL session), the mamas put the fear of God into them if they get caught.  A standard rate is $1000 per session as this is what the girls get for an over night session from the bar.  

A useful tip is to get two girls to come together, much less risk for them as they just tell their housekeeper they are going to the market.  You pay them $1k each for an hour or two and everyone is happy.

Never had bad luck in a CB. Just separation from a lot of HKD. Best looking girls in Wan Chai IMHO.

haha, yes we can all agree about being separated from lots of HKD!!!  Brutal BUT they get my vote as having the best looking girls in Wan Chai, generally the best attitudes too.

Venus (I got the joke but maybe you want to know) is on the NE corner of Luard and Lockhart Rds - if you luck out at Taboo as well as Sports Bar, you are guaranteed a great pickup there, albeit for a far higher price!!  Venis is right between the two

Never been in but passed by it a zillion times from the horny to 109, Fuji, etc. The mamasan that sits out front is always sweet as pie.  I wonder if Obe has banged her.

Yes Obe the girls out the front cost me heaps of $$ but they were always good times.  They aren't allowed to any longer after an asshole undercover reporter negotiated a girl from one of the Mamas in San Fransisco in about 2014 or 2015.  This was compounded by the lunatic English banker who murdered two girls and put them in suitcases, forced everyone indoors.

Upside to that is that it is much easier to walk past the mamas than the girls, especially the girls you have banged before .  They get very "tampo" when they see you with a different girl or go into another bar.  Trouble is I tend to stay in contact so it gets complicated quickly.  

The change also ended "happy hour" in the curtain bars, they used to all open between 1-2pm, now mostly at 8pm.  Another change that has saved me heaps of money .  Fuck me i hate to think what I have spent in those bars!!  San Fransisco is just across from one of the exits for Wanchai station, I would have every intention of walking past BUT... well, after a few hours spent i got back to the hotel!!!  Fun times

Now my main issue is keeping my little group of DH away from me when I am with another one.  I can't believe how small HK is sometimes!

Thai:
30-40’s (never seen any in their 20’s).
open earlier in day (different visa restrictions).
Pricing can be lower (but they always start high), can get ST to HK1000
Highly variable service levels.

Pinay:
20’s (21-29 is the range, used to be 18+ but changed four years ago).
Girls are a very high standard, mostly great bodies and good to great faces, they do tend to keep variety of looks to suit a broader range of punters.
Open at 8pm (occasionally earlier).
Girls do six months tours (all have 6 month dancer visas).
Pricing maintained pretty high, ST HK12-1800.
Service is mostly GFE and they do amazing GFE! Dragon Bar is your destination if you want PSE, some of those girls are wild.
If you have seen my reports you know I am totally smitten with the girls of the CB’s - enter at your peril!

There are some bars that mix a few Thais in with the Pinays but they are always older and a little more battle worn.

Hey Austin, you are stretching my memory now, Club King was a good Thai CB which was up on the corner but has gone now.  

On the south side of Lockhart Rd there are three in the middle of that section of road (between O’Brien and Luard Roads) which I think are Thai: Cockeye, Cavalier and Rhine.  On the opposite side there is Cheers and Romance.  I think they are all still open.  

Sadly we have lost a few CB's in the last year: King, Waikiki, Country 88 and Superstar.  Apparently the rents are too high to sustain the business there.

Love to hear how you go.  I have a DH who lives in Wanchai fortuitously and tends to take up any free afternoons I have (other thanSundays, haha) when in HK

I can confirm, as of yesterday, that in Dragon Bar a lady drink of HKD180 will include a 90-120 sec fluffer BBBJ - that girls know when to stop before you cum and then try on entice you to the back for CIM finish - think the mamasan said 1-1.5k
