I had an appointment at 5pm today at one Victoria in wanchai. Place got raided by police and girls arrested because they have no work visa.

Just as the girl was about to give me a bj there was some noise outside and all of a sudden things got hectic. The masses asked need to get dressed to which I obliged and stormed out. Then police came into the room and wanted to see my Id and asked for my phone number (they properly presented their badges). Funny thing was that as I pulled out my wallet to get my Id there was some glad foil (household wrapping foil) that the fork used to wrap lb instead of a condom. She must have placed it there as she stormed out pulling up her panties as she allowed access to her is. Would have brb embarrassing if I pulled out a condom...

They told me that they arrested the girls because they have no proper work visa and would close the place. I was asked to leave and the police told me that they arranged that I would not have to pay... Felt sorry for the girl as she was quite nice.

They are still sending pics if you ask for girls... not sure if new ones but they seem to be back in business

Just shared what police was saying during the raid... Maybe they just temporarily closed. Ultimately they went after the girls if the business is legit then proceedings against the business itself may take longer and not sure if built-in of work visa could merit a pregnant closure. In any case, the place seems to be on the radar of the authorities so caution is advised in my view

I got out OK. They only recorded my information. As with regards to your second question: if I am not mistaken then prostitution in Hong Kong itself is legal but what is prohibited is organized prostitution (see also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prostitution_in_Hong_Kong). In this case their interest was the visa status of the girls, i.e. whether they are working in HK even though they are here on tourist visa.

After "banging" a mainland street walker for the second time, I was surprised on leaving the room, that there were 2 males, "man handling" me, preventing me from leaving the room!  Oh, my god! I was shepherded into another room, with another SWT, very distressed.  

This was a "raid", the detectives checking work visas, etc.

The detectives were very professional, asking me my hotel address, and for some identification.

I showed them a foreign driver's license.

The detective's English was OK, though his first language was Cantonese.

I was allowed to leave, after being told that the "working girl's" passport would be stamped "not allowed to re-enter HK".

She was on a 7 day Visitor's visa, but clearly earning money. She told me that her husband (cough!) did not know all the details.   I can converse in Mandarin. Cough!

At Immigration exit a few days later I was concerned that I might be pulled aside, and asked to explain my movements.

Fortunately, nothing came of it, and a few hours later, I happily jetted out of HK.

Was there a lesson?: probably that the detectives who police visa conditions will be lenient and cooperative, if you are cooperative.

Their aim is to find the "working girls" who do not have the appropriate visa, not the punters who frequent them.

If challenged by HK police or a detective, my advice ... stay cool, be cooperative.  They know that YOU do not know the passport/visa of the girl you have been discovered with.
