first timer in guangzhou looking to explore

Not sure if right place to post this. Visiting in guangzhou for work and staying at a hotel in huadu, looking for massage with
happy ending or more. Maybe after this experience might try a WG.
Prefer a less sketchy service/place since I only know few words in chinese and my first time in the country.

Not sure where to start, any advice would be appreciated.

In Guangzhou you won't get much more than HE, especially as a first timer.  Don't know the Huadu area but if you go for a stroll after dinner and look out for places lit up with Christmas lights you'll probably do just fine.   Alternatively there is almost certainly plenty of sketchy places around the North Station, but may be seedier, wham bam thank you ma'am places than you are ready for.

I used to stay in Huadu a long time ago, in the New Century Hotel.  I always wondered where the Japanese from the Nissan factory found all those girls they were taking to their rooms.

Next door was a huge KTV. I'm not sure if it is still running, and puntingb but it used to be easy to go to the main hall, talk to a mamsan and get a girl. You can ask to do this in a room and get a "line up of 2 - 3 girls.

Failing that the guy taking my luggage was offering girls.

However this was 10 years ago, so who knows the situation now.

Well it was my first trip, so it seemed pretty good. My hosts kept asking if the hotel was OK. Eventually I found out why. Apperently their customers had complained about WG knocking on their doors after midnight looking for business (I expect not all complained). It seems someone on the front desk was selling room numbers of single guys ripe for a punt. Didn't happen to me. My first punt was arranged by the owners of the factory I was visiting because I kept fending off offers of girls. I didn't know Chinese business methods then, and worried I may be beholden to them in some way. I refused long enough they offered me the chance of a boy!

New Century Hotel is still open. Why don't you try going in the evening and see if the large building to the right is still a KTV. It may still be going.
