I was going to take Wednesday off and give my body a rest (being 50 years old sucks), so after a long day of work and only a few hours of sleep on Tuesday night — i think I’m running on less than 8 hours of sleep in the last 3 to 4 days, I’ve lost track — I headed to bed around 9PM and fell right to sleep…. but as I’m sure you guessed, that is NOT where this story ends, or you you wouldn’t be reading this… LOL!
I woke up around midnight, and could not fall back to sleep. I knew I was awake, and my body was essentially saying, “hey, we’re in Singapore…. and you haven’t been to Brix yet, and we could always go back to Ipanema, or see Moon again…”
Fuck it, I got up around 12:30 and thought I’ll give it 2 hours and then come back and sleep a few hours before work.
I showered and headed to Brix, but sadly, there was a queue of guys coming from some party vans and the bouncer wasn’t letting us in. I stood there for a minute or two and then headed back to OT / Ipanema. On the way, I got propositioned by a cute Viet named Lisa on the street… but I passed because she was a little too tall for me.
