From what I've seen in USA posts in the "Rest of World" forum, as well as on various links outside this forum, most providers ask for references.

However, I live in HK and I've visited ladies here and elsewhere in Asia, but never mongered in the USA before.

I've got some visits to the USA planned and am interested in getting my, uh, "feet" wet, but what do you do when everyone wants references? I'm guessing that references from Asia won't help? What do you do in this situation?

I usually don't go for those who require reference based on my principle against such system. However, it is harder to find a girl now because CL (Craigslist's escort section) got shut down a long time ago and now BP's (Backpage). Another major review board in California also went to the dust (SF Redbook). However, you can still find some from other local boards, if they exist. Or you can fish out from CL's casual encounter.

You can find some girls that are newbie friendly. You can try them first and then use them as reference.

Depending on where you are in the US, there are different sites that work. CityVibe tends to be good on the west coast, and AAMPs seem to be more Newbie Friendly. If you are in NYC, there are lots of AMPs that offer FS, and I've never had much problem getting in them, although that is starting to change.

My suggestion is just search through TER and find some providers you like, then call them up.

Start to build up your US Profile, post reviews on TER so next time you can point to your account there.

You can always try sites like WhatsYourPrice, SeekingArrangement, etc. I've not tried them, but others on here have posted positive experiences.

Feel free to ask questions, I'm sure people can help with specific cities (I recall seeing someone just posting something on LA the other day). I recall the poster mentioning that WeChat is pretty good in LA.... maybe other cities as well?

hkpunter999 gave excellent advice above, and I completely agree.   First step is to sign up for preferred411.com   There is a fee involved, but it's worth it to build up your trust factor.  Imagine from the provider's vantage point, they are going to an outcall or inviting you over for an incall and you are a complete stranger... quite a risky proposition.  There are some providers who say they are "newbie friendly" so start with those first.  After one or two meetings with these ladies, ask them if they might be willing to serve as your reference.  Then it just builds up from there.  

There are several local sites, but for travel purposes, they best are preferred411.com combined with theeroticreview.com.

TER has a rating system, so it is easy to pick out the ladies who are good-looking and offer great service.

If anyone wants to get started on Humaniplex I can reference you and add you to my network.  Shoot me a message here with your username after you make an account.  I have another friend in LA who might do the same if I ask him.  He's the one who turned me on to 141 as well.  So with two male references who are level 2 or 3 you should be good to go in LA, SF, NV to see anyone you want.  Just don't make me look bad.  Female references are better but at least if girls ask why you just have two male references you can tell them that you are from this region and use this site mainly and that you know your Humaniplex references from here and you are just visiting the US.  That should get most if not all girls to agree to see you...trust me most of the girls don't want to lose business.  It's not like walk ups here where people can easily find them.

I concur with Nerdyphotog3, Humaniplex is the best for the LA area.  The community provides references for each other to give you more assurances that your meeting safe people.  They started adding on a small fee for message privileges but is very cheap.  Hit me up on HX same handle as here if you need a reference
