I think you're kinda screwed. You're meant to call and book via a mamasan/papasan and they are not usually so good at customer service. So I'm not sure they will respond to texts and the text would probably have to be in Chinese. I think you would be better off trying 141s, saunas or brothels.

As long as your phone is not locked then you can just get a phone sim card from one of the provider shops like Peoples (I think this is the cheapest one).

If you're deaf, forget about hotel gals unless you have someone to make the booking
for you and accompany you to the hotel to confirm arrival and get the room number.

multiple efforts to contact papasans via text message failed miserably. don't even bother with it. Also I get temp. sim cards from circle-K or 7-11. They have a wide range of companies available.

You are probably stuffed, unless you are willing to give people a few $ to ask them to book for you , though this would probably be somewhat compromising position.

Yeah I wouldn't do this. You're basically putting yourself at someone's mercy. Only do this if you really trust them and that sort of person is not likely to ask for $$$.

Your name sounds Japanese and reminds me of the times I've been to Tokyo and Osaka and had to reply on close friends to line things up for me. Luckily I have bros over there who I trust and we have been out mongering together. This isn't always easy as some places and girls won't have anything to do with foreigners.
Here in Hong Kong you will have to overcome some factors beyond just getting someone to make the first call. First of all the papas (pimps in plain language) always require caller ID. I have been told that if they don't see a number on their phones they just don't bother to answer. (You very rarely actualy get to talk to the girl herself on the phone. This has only happened once in all the years I have been mongering. The numbers are mobile phone numbers, not hotel numbers and all the girls go through 'agents'. Naturally if you're planning a return visit you can try to get a phone number from the girl herself, but this is more than likely to be a Mainland China cellphone. ). Secondly they will tell you to go to the hotel and call again when you're in the lobby, which rules out using the concierge in your own hotel for obvious reasons!
You should also be aware that many of us have experienced arriving at a hotel and then being given the runaround. Sometimes the papa doesn't anwer his phone after we have arrived with erections bulging in our pants. Sometimes the papa answers but tells you the girl is unavailable but he can arrange another girl. In other words, you will need to be able to communicate verbally so a Chinese-speaking companion or fellow mongerer is almost essential. Many papas has more than one girl so you could get a girl each. Sometimes you can spot girls with the same number in the database, but these are not organized in any way as everyone has to be a bit cautious as this activity is not strictly speaking 100% legal. The girls are almost all visitors to HK on tourist visas, so they shouldn't be working.
I agree with the other bros that your best bet is the 141 walkup girls as most of them don't require bookings. The downside is of course that you might be faced with a sign or two saying Please Wait rather than Welcome!

Sorry to sound so discouraging, if you are deaf, you should stay away from HR completely.   Uless you got a friend to completley assist you through the whole process...from calling to knocking on the room door...just short of fucking her.  There are plenty out there on walkup's why bother...I dont mind being that friend if you treat me to a couple WG's
