Macau or Shenzhen

Ok just to ask fellow peeps out there if you're based in HK wouldyou go to Macau (via the sheung wan ferry + coupon) or head up to Shenzhen for a FS spa/sauna?

I have heard that in the ferry terminal there are shops that sell packages, but got no idea if this includes getting you to the spa once you're in Macau or do you make yoyr own way there.

Shenzhen with the crackdowns seems to be a more hazardous place to go.

Beside the Macau sauna, can you stay at the sauna for a long time or overnight? With sauna? Free food? Etc?

Not really fussed about a long time or overnight, as I would often make it a 1 day trip, with sauna is a plus but not really a requirement, food wise I normally eat outside of the place 1st.

Macau is better for the  sole purpose of going to a sauna.

Shenzhen is not as open or accessible and a lot more risky.

Yes you have to make your own way from the ferry terminal.

Macau is more costly, but does have it advantages

Including the 'legality' issue, you won't run the risk of being busted in Macau in a sauna etc, is always a big one when i have friends or clients who want to enjoy

With certain spas/packages purchased at Shun Tak etc, Darlings, East Spa etc you can arrange for sometimes a small fee, sometimes no fee, for a car to pick you up, its always quite nice to step out of arrivals and there to be a hot girl conservatively
dressed waiting to lead you to a car.....

For the transportation, there are tons of free shuttles from the terminal to the casinos. Although the sauna you want to visit may not have a free shuttle, I bet there is a free shuttle that will drop you off nearby. For the bulk of the saunas, you can take the Lisboa one or the other casinos' across the street. Rio has its own shuttle. As for 18 and Darling, I am not sure. But they are so close to the terminal. You can take a taxi or just walk.
