Checked this out based on a previous review. Harmony spa is recently renovated and looks great. Everything is new.

Anna wore a short black dress which made her boobs look bigger than they probably were. She looked good.  

It was a standard massage, beginning with a dry towel. She had good pressure, and chatted friendly during the massage. I don't speak Mandarin so she said she'll teach me Mandarin while I teach her English. Deal! We had a few laughs which made both of us feel more comfortable.

Then the oil started. But she put on plastic gloves. Zuh? What's with the the gloves I asked her. "Mei Yo" is all she replied. For whatever reason she didn't want to use her bare hands. Was there something on her hands? Maybe the oil is doing damage to her skin? She just didn't want to touch me? Lol Whatever it was, no matter how good her technique was (which it was), the constant sound of crinkling plastic gloves did not do well for me.  I couldn't stop thinking about why she had those gloves on.. I wasn't able to relax.  Her tease was decent the HJ okay, but the gloves killed it for me. For this reason I wouldn't repeat.

Anybody else have experience with the gloves for the whole massage? What was their reason?

Indeed she did. I thought maybe she would take them off for the HJ but not even.

Perhaps she was worried about leaving finger prints

I've been to spa for serval years, never try this(plastic glove) before

I think may be she got skin problems of her hands
So it's actually better with plastic glove than using bare hands to.touch you as she may infect you..
But it's really not professional if the company really let the girl with skin problem to serve the clients.
