It just me or have things gotten a little quiet lately?  When I first signed up on 141 I remember there was a lot more going on on these forums   Now it seems like less than a handful of new posts a day.  Where have the people disappeared off to? Cass - wheres your reports on the hotel girls that you just to post 1 to 2 a week.  Not done a hotel girl in weeks and looking for some recommendations   Even 5-htp gone quiet and thats saying something

On holidays or long service?  I agree CGE, there does seem to be less activity with the reports.  Is that seasonal?

All regulars on the columns are 16-year-old schoolboys or their housewife mummies and they're very busy doing other things during the school holidays. They'll all be back and fakin' it again soon! LOL

I blame the Olympics.

My theory is that Olympics mean less wives playing Mahjong and less husbands free to play outdoors.

Or maybe the other bros were too busy watching women's beach volleyball and the closing ceremony cheerleaders.

Hmm, I noticed that the hotel WGs seemed to be booked up very quickly at least on weekends anyways.  Olympic tourists in town booking them?  Asked in K-Pressure if the WGs there noticed any increase in business because of the Olympics and none of them seem to notice any real difference, guess those places are perhaps more for locals.

The forums are dead because the same things get posted over and over again. After the hundredth 'Falling in love with a WG' or 'Is DATY safe?' thread with the same replies regurgitating the same old tired arguments, it becomes more and more of a struggle to log on and post anything. These issues were all settled long ago, and even a sanctimonious bore like me gets tired of repeating himself. So the forums are driven by new guys who post the same things, hang around for 6 mths or so, until they too grow bored with it all.

And Cantgetenough, by the time you became an active member, things had already died down considerably. Last Fall and early Spring was when this forum was really hopping! Where were you when we fought the Mod Wars? Who can forget the magnificent image of Saint Marsupial astride his black steed, drawn sword glinting in the light of burning brothels, battling the evil tyrant Sulasno!  Aye, those were the days of Heroes laddie! - now it's just 'I'll show you mine if you show me yours.'

Well the battles have been won, but peace is never as interesting as war. Even bashing sexpert no longer brings any joy. Maybe its time to retire into the mountains and leave the field to the flashers.

maybe some old boy should write the definitive history of 141 subjects in concise format ..... look here first and research 141 archives before starting new posts or suffer the rath of Mars (and others).

I was all sweet and innocent till the story of the WG murderer got out and the website name got published in the Standard   Come on own up, who else discovered this site after reading those stories?

I remember that the first story came with a photo straight from 161 which kept the url in the corner and then 141 was mentioned in a later article

I do remember someone having a grudge on Jake though threatening to ban him from the forum along with all his "cronies" though should they get mod status.

But I have noticed that lately its the same questions over and over again from new members that ask questions about which hotel the hotel WG goes to, what recommendations bros have because they're going to arrive in HK in the new few days.  Perhaps a FAQ sticky is needed.

The standard of reports from newer members has seem to deteriorated too a bit, they seem to be quite brief and lacking details; other than one from EH3 of coarse but those ones are probably at the opposite end of the spectram as he attempts to write a wonder piece of 141 literature Come on bro's, the regulars may need to set the standard once again for writing reports and show people how its done

The only way to brighten things up is to get in more reports from lurkers and newbies. Those who pms for this and that, newbies asking recommendations and suggestions, they should all contribute more and share. We are really dry and thirsty with all these reports...............and of cos real photos will be a plus+++.

In that case, perhaps the Mod should close Q&A section and when someone try to put a new thread a pop up will appears "Don't bother asking, your question has been answered somewhere here, just scroll thru the thread you #$%@@$$&!!!"

What was the deal with Sulasno anyway?

I got multiple PMs from him back in the day saying he had "information" on a girl I'd reported on, and asking for my name, email and phone number.

He might as well have asked for my HKid number, dental records and a blood sample.
