So I've been using an app called Skout and I see a lot of girls with a few pics and basically a lot of them either take the initiative to message you their wechat id or it is posted in their profile info. So I add them and the convo is basically just the basics like what you doing or where you live then it follows up with how they are looking to make side cash, they give their price and ask if you require service. Now I've heard plenty stories of people telling scam stories where they give you a meet up spot and then follow up with telling you to buy phone cards or pay through alipay. So i usually request them to either send a photo of them holding a piece of paper with four digits give by me or go for a less guaranteed verification by using the voice function and saying something. This proceeds with either no further replies or they say they cannot do it, if you don't trust them then forget it. Is it something about the industry or procedure that blocks them from doing something so simple like this or is it a guaranteed scam? For tjose that had success with this how can i filter them out?

From my experience, if they do what you are requesting, a lot of times they won't be able to do a bait and switch on you.

Some of them could be scams, but if you hold their "real" picture then it is harder for them, plus they may be concerned that you are LE, but it is doubtful.

From my experience, it just easier to tell them to meet you at a hotel lobby and pay in cash.  But remind them that if you don't like them, you ain't paying for nothing

u already know it's a scam when they stop responding to u.  this is an old scam that pops up on this forum every few months.
