Just joined the board today, looked at a few threads, and this question came to mind.

On one side, I see some people mention that WGs can make like 1.5million HKD a year working 5 day/week.

On the other, there are all the stories of scams and girls that don't want to leaveafter being sex trafficked because they can earn way more than they would at home (e.g. Chinese girls in Africa).

So which story is right?  Is it both in the sense that the most beautiful can make that kind of money, and others make a living?

If you came here and the first questions you have on your mind are these then you are in the wrong place … does this imply it will impact your on experience and enjoyment with WGs depending on how much the girl makes ?

Perhaps I can address the question that might be behind your question ...

In HK sex work is legal, so the vast majority of girls in the trade are making a positive choice.  You get all sorts, some are literally too lazy to get out of bed to work, whereas others are proud of giving great service.  Some feel entitled and use a range of cheap tricks to get more money, others run to give you $20 change and are shocked when you offer them a tip.

All sorts.

Of course there's very a dark side.  I've thankfully not seen much of it, except for a couple of girls (mostly Thais) who were clearly terrorised by some guy who strictly polices their 30 minute time limit, completely killing her mood and yours.  
I've not (yet) seen any of the violence you read about way too often - the robberies, the murders, the violent clients.  Triads are as real as corrupt cops, and the girls need street savvy to protect themselves.  

Suggest you don't try to label the girls, or categorise them.  There are as many reasons for doing the work, and as many different income expectations, as there are girls.  
As in any trade, there are a few who make most of the money, the vast majority just get by, and there's a constant stream of people who don't even get by and exit.  DON'T be jealous of their money: they make big sacrifices to get it and the ones that make a lot have to work especially hard.  

On the upside there was a naive and innocent young sub I bumped into once, who took the room of one of my favourites during her red-letter day.  She reacted as if she'd never been touched before, and really got into it.  Never saw her again, with hindsight I should immediately have taken her number.  Another time I encountered a girl who had just quit making $18k at the airport checkin counters, wanting to make cash quickly in a month so she could fly to australia.  She was super highly motivated and gave a wonderfully attentive GFE.  Of course I reported immediately, being a good team player

Be a gentleman.  If you don't want to pay her price, a polite "thanks but no thanks" covers it. And tip for good service, if you want good service in future.  

If you want to meet nice girls in the walkups, make sure it's nice for the girls in the walkups.

Look at it another way $1.5m HK = 250K Aussie - I used this as an example because OZ is an expensive country for punting.

Maybe some of the high priced escorts could earn 250K but they would still have to work plenty of hours and many are part time.

Let's look at HK -  Lets work on a 48 week year - Less the lady having red which drops it to 42 weeks  - Say a lady charged 1500 for 1hr - Say she got 12 gents a week - Thats 18k HK per week - Times that by 42 and it equals - That's around 760 HK which equals around 120,000 OZ.

You would need to either charge high prices or have a queue of men banging on your door.

Few if any would earn 1.5m, few would earn 1m - A number could earn 500K

Yup ... those at the top definitely need to charge high prices AND have a flock of men queuing to be the next through the 'door' ... it's a tough gig ... heck, it's a job

possible, but definitely not easy for walk-up girls.
1.5million means they have to get at least 10 customers a day, 270 days a year. (no rest during menstruation)
they need to get a lot of tips to make the 1.5 mil mark.

on the other hand,
a KTV WG in Macau can earn much more.
it is not uncommon for a WG in Macau L'Arc KTV to earn HKD 50K in a week.
they get $1k per pop + $500-1k tips
on a good day they get 5 customer per day.
7 days = bam bam bam = easy $50K

last month I met a Mongolian at L'arc.
she wants to earn enough money to build a house in her hometown.
I asked her how much she needs?
she says "500k"
I asked her how much she saved?
she says "400k"
I then asked how long she worked in Macau?
she says she started working in Macau since June, but only work 2 weeks a month.
now she only need another 2-3 weeks to hit the 500k mark.
  good for her.


sometimes these stories of scams are just stories created by the girls to save their own face.
most girls with dignity will NOT say they became a WG willingly.
they usually will say they were cheated by boyfriends, distant relatives... etc etc.

some are true stories, but not all

it really depends upon the specific arrangements.

independent contractors like the lovely Candy (sadly, Apparently retired in December 2014 and nowhere to be found )whom I got to know quite told me that in Hing Loong Building she was paying HKD 9500 per month for her office rent, and several hundred Hong Kong per month to be on this site. this is the kind of situation where you need to maximize your time spent

Some of my friends at KP tell me it's a straight 50% split with the house of the amount the customer pays.
