Does the bar in the hotel have any Sunday night action?  Domestic day workers or pros?  Thanks for any help...I am coming into HK the first time next weekend.

You will need luck to get a freebie as a first time visitor to HK, especially if you are in Wanchai.

Firstly: he didn't say freebie.  

Secondly: with the greatest respect for your opinion and your perspective, you're wrong.  Absolutely no reason why a first timer shouldn't be able to get laid for free or otherwise, and there's no reason why it's any harder in WanChai than in any other city in the World.  

In fact, I'd say it's probably easier in WanChai than in most cities of the World.

Back to the OP ...

... best thing you can do is walk the street and visit a number of places ... if a place is not busy, immediately walk out and try the next one ... it's all in one area so you can quickly get a current live feel of where the energy that will be much more current than any advice you get on this thread.  Each day is subtly different.  

Having said that:
you will want to centre your search around the junction between Lockhart Rd and Luard Rd
You'll find places on Lockhart Rd, Jaffe Rd, Hennessey Rd, and many of the connecting streets
KEY POINT:  AVOID any of the 'red curtain bars' that have young girls inviting foreign men inside ... nothing but hardened pros inside and an even more hardboiled mamasan to negotiate with ... only go inside if you're experienced, and up for a challenge (some bros I know are and enjoy it).  
Aside from that you'll see a number of discos,
another key point: don't stay on street level.  Look up.  Some places are on the higher floors of a building.  

OK ... addresses you may want to check out include New Makati Escape and Amazonia (search is your friend) ... but I'm saying that with the proviso that on any given night you may find better pickings elsewhere ...

If you're going to WanChai on your first night, go with the intention of discovering the scene, and to enjoy whatever you find.  

If you're busting to get your rocks off, and therefore goal focussed, I DO agree with Chantik, don't go to WanChai bars and instead find a couple of nice walkups you like the look of.

Probably too late for 3pset but just to add for other bros regarding the Renaissance:
1. No DH will visit the Renaissance on spec or to drink and if you invite them there they will likely get get confused about how to get there especially if coming from the MTR.
2. From time to time there are WG that work the bar area near reception but I have found they want a stupid amount to come up to your room. I would avoid them.
3. There are often WG in the garden area out the front of the hotel (level below Reception) but for some reason they always seem dodgy and I have never taken any up on their offers.
4. Lockhart Rd is 500 meters away and is the best option for a variety of experiences either while out or back in your room.
5. Girls love the view from the Harbour view rooms looking out to Kowloon, I mean really love it, so do your best to get an upgrade to one of these if you haven't booked, if you are pleasant the girls and guys on Reception are authorised to do it and  upgrade doesn't seems be too difficult. I have stayed there 20+ times and always got the upgrade.
6. To contradict DArtagnun's comments, I must say I love the curtain bars, yes you will pay too much and the negotiation can be irritating but my God I have had some great times with one girls.  Do it once but try not to be addicted like me.
7. Lastly, if you have a little time work your mojo on a few DH's on social media, they will love your room when you get them back there and seem more comfortable as they won't run into any of their friends in that area. The "nice" ones don't  want to be seen with men...my last trip was a 100% hit rate, 4 from 4, with an average time of meeting to fucking of around 30 minutes, all free, blew me away with how simple it turned out to me.
