First post and I hope this is in the right section and helps some people.

I read about the place a while ago in another forum, but had an incident this week with a broken lid. The practice name is Brian Uro over at Banqiao. If you search GoogleMaps for Brian Uro Taipei it should show you the place, otherwise the address is:

It's been 2 days since the incident and he gave me preventative antibiotics for the middle 3 (Syph, The Clap and Gon). Syph is pretty serious from what I understand as that shit will get you deported. The pills cost $350 which is pretty damn reasonable.

The big 2 ... For the worst of the worst (HIV) you have to wait for 10 days and it'll cost $3000 for a test. Otherwise the 3 month test is only a couple of hundred dollars. For herpes is forever, I guess you just have to wait for symptoms and/or the 3 month test (not too sure about that one).

His English is ok, but I got most of the conversation done in Mandarin. I was literally waiting for 5 minutes, so it's definitely a drop-in place. I gave a fake name and said I had no Taiwan phone, so is definitely anonymous, then got the fuck out of there. I'm sure his share of nervous expats and heard some pretty crazy stories.

On a separate note, I was reading the risk of a one-time HIV infection is extremely low, something like 0.04%. It put's the mind at rest, but definitely something you don't want to be fucking around with. Am def worried about dreaded dick herpes, though.
