so does anyone ever meet up?

I am not new to punting but I am new to HK,  and always cautious of new territories.  So do noobs ever arrange to meet up here? Maybe with some of the regular, more experienced mongers, or even other noobs to share info and experience and help each other out? I would be happy to buy a few beers for those willing to educate the lesser educated
