Financially speaking would it be wiser to go to the Macau Ferry Terminal and buying a package, or going to Macau straight from the airport?  I will probably visit a low tier sauna, most likely the Boss.  Mind you, I have the eChannel sticker on my passport, so Immigration is not a concern.  Thank you

you have to see where you're going to the ferry terminal from and compare it to the package price savings which should be around HK$250 - 300

250-300 savings...

it seems like you will have to pay for the train to get to the other terminal 220 anyways so then you lose the savings and time. if i go directly from the airport then i will just suck it up.v

If on a tight budget, one should not go to Macau at all, because the punting is more expensive, generally speaking, than HK.

But if the thought of spending an extra HKD$500 over the course of your Macau trip doesn't trouble you, then just forget the package deals and go straight to Macau from HKIA, which is really, really convenient. The package deals are also largely available at the saunas themselves, and are very similar to what's available in Shun Tak but without the free ferry ride. So you're swapping some convenience and saved time for some money -- nothing unusual in that.

If you are on a tight budget but also want to go to Macau, Shun Tak will save you a bit. And don't forget that you can overnight in most saunas, saving you the cost of a hotel.

A few things to note.

Does the ferry timetable from HKIA work with you?

http://www.turbojet.com.hk/en/routing-sailing-schedule/hk-airport-macau/sailing-schedule-fares.aspx

Remember the ferry from HKIA goes to Cotai, so you will need to get a taxi / shuttle bus to the other side.

You can catch the A11 bus from HKIA, which drops you off at Shun Tak.
