Been reading a lot of reports from fellow punters and I'm looking forward to my hk trip this August. I was just wondering, does anyone else think it would be a good idea to have a live chat room where fellow brothers could talk to one another and arrange for punting adventures? I thought it'd make it easy to communicate with one another and share knowledge. D

This way people brothers could coordinate daily mongering trips together much easier as they can speak to people live, as opposed to creating a thread. Brothers could also put a status update like away or mongering. I find this would be a convenient tool to help people converse together more often. Just a thought. D

Once you have a proven record of good quality reports you will find people will communicate with you through other channels. I guess this is how we filter out the real punters from the lurkers. The forum has almost 120,000 members of which only a small percentage are punters / reporters. Generally communication between bros on the forum is pretty good and I would imagine even more communication happens with the PM feature. I communicate with a few bros through other channels and we often meet up for nights out. I think a chat room would be great but it would be very hard if not impossible to moderate.
