Since CP is kinda oit of bounds for now, can anyone give some suggestions on where else would be worth going for KTV? Places that would have a good KTV scene going on and not too difficult to reach. Would places like Xiamen, Huizhou worth going or it's pretty much not recommend since Guangdong would be on high alert for now.

Of course I'm no taking CP as a benchmark but it would be good ifyou guys can share some places where they KTV scene still alive, easily accessible places, not too remote place.

I am an older American and go to China several times per year on business.  But mainly to one city!  The KTV scene there is fine.  Don't know about the other options, Sauna, BBS's, etc as I don't frequent them.

However, I have yet to find a full naked one but the take out options are good.  May not be quite as wild as the CP/CA were, but less commercial also and less money, 3/6/9 and 3/7/12 are the normal ranges.  No butterflying.  Hotel costs may be a bit less than other areas, but I do get a special rate in my 4 star hotel as I know the owner.

The city is (as far as I am concerned) the prettiest city in China, clean, modern, great climate, golf courses, hot springs, etc.  RT Air fare from major cities in China are from $200 to $300 US dollars.  So with the lower cost of the WG's you get a fairly good ROI.  If you want to know where or meet me there on my next trip (August), PM me as I am paranoid enough that I won't put it out for general information.  mrclen
