For those of you that travel regularly to locations notorious for sex tourism, what do you tell your friends and relatives/wife, if anything? I am in need of some inspiration.

Easy , you have to make up a good believable story ( lie ).

If you are single like me, it's easy going for a vacations..
Go when you want
Go anywhere anytime.
Leave when you want.
No one to answer to.
Do what you want to do

Now, if you are married, it's much harder and able to leave for a few weeks all the time.  OTH, I do know a few guys that have to travel to other countries often for business  that fool around on the side.

I am single, but keep in close contact with relatives and friends, it would be impossible to hide my destination. However, it is really difficult to find an excuse for going to Phnom Penh/Angeles City without it being obvious what you are going there for in the first place. This tears me apart. I can't think of a believable lie.

Why would you need to say exactly where you're going? Wouldn't it be enough to just say you were going to the Philippines? Or say you were going to Manila but go to AC instead?

Asia is a big place. I seldom give a specific place, just HK, Thailand, or such. I do have a job that allows for excellent cover so I leverage that all the time.

Take up golf.

Golf is the number 1 reason, many of my buddies use in Asia to visit somewhere in Asia. There are great golf courses near every place with a lot of pussy. In fact they go hand-in-hand. Golf in morning, then massage/sauna/wg to relax afterwards in afternoon, then great dinner followed with more relaxing at a ktv/sauna.

If it such a worry, stick to Hong Kong and Singapore.  There are loads of reasons to go there.  From HK you can now go to Macau without any passport record.

Or just man up and show an interest for traveling the world.

yes, golf is the best reason.

most non-golfing SO will not want to tag along on the trip anyway.
and when playing golf, gives you the excuse of not picking up the phone.

8am - 1pm : Golfing
2pm - 4pm : Driving Range
5pm - 10pm : Golfing (Night Course)
10pm - 8am : Sleeping (due to next morning's early game)

it is rude to talk on the phone while on course, so even if SO calls, u need not answer.


but actually schedule is :

8am - 1pm : Sleeping
2pm - 4pm : Sauna
5pm - 10pm : KTV
10pm - 8am : Fucking

I don't keep it a secret, in fact i tell most guys i know exactly what goes on and how many girls i have shagged.  Then i ask         them, how could they be happy married to some fat bitching cow.  If they are not married, i tell them to go and experience the world.  I started Traveling in the late 90's and i went to russia first, then Ukraine and Romania. After that, thailand numerous times, Philippines numerous time, Mainland China, but i have not have time to spend time in hong kong yet, probably next month,   This is after i raised 2 kids myself and first divorced from a  rather boring life and wife.  At first i told everyone i just wanted to see the world, which was true, but after i realized foreign girls loved american men, i took full advantage of the situation. I don't drink and am quiet,  and always dress nice, no shorts and flipflops.  For me, i don't care how jealous other guys are, or how much their wives hate me.  Fuck them, people only talk because they're jealous, and as i 've gotten older, i am not shy in telling them to mind their own business.   i am only going to live once and i hope to enjoy it with no regrets.

I assumed he was talking about male and female friends, I would have thought you would be in the minority Kaka having most of your male friends punt with you - bit a criticism, just an observation. More power to you but for me the less people in my regular life that know of my exploits the less risk there is for me to get busted.

I feel the same way.  If there is a lot of guys ( people ) know about your secret hobby, one day someone might say something behind your back and you don't know abou it. Then rumors will start to fly. As a result, the less people knowing the better and less risk.

Yeah, I keep it from my male friends as well: all this does is increase the chances of reaching people that you don't want it to reach.

I'd say it's 50/50 for me.  I have friends that know, others that don't, and I just say I'm going on vacation to the Philippines.  I've fallen in love with the place.  Let them think whatever they want.  Close friends get to see the vacation pics when I return.  Facebook just gets pics of beaches.
