I was in MK earlier, two girls I checked out from the site were busy so thought I would wander around while I waited.   I decided to go up a brothel which I had not done in a few years, the ones you see around Shanghai street near Langham Place with the signs stating nationality and price.  I asked for Malay or Thai as was listed but it was too early, so on my way out I asked the guy the price to confirm and was surprised to find out that that the price listed was for the girl only and that there was an additional 100 for the room.

It's been a while but from what I remember, there never used to be an additional charge for the room. I don't know if this is a new thing or if the guy was trying to get a bit extra from me possibly mistaking me for a tourist?  Anyone know?


Also, I year or so ago I tried going up a different one and was told the time with the girl was 30 minutes instead of the 45 minutes I used to get several years ago.

37D has always charged for the room.

In my experience, if the place looks like a pseudo-ktv complete with the whole ktv setup inside the rooms and outside, then you are essence taking the girl off-premises. You can theoretically take her into another love hotel, but no one ever does. They just go upstairs to the love hotel that is in the same building and pay for the room.

If the place does not look like a ktv but just a warren of rooms, then you are indeed in a real brothel and you are expected to shag the girl on premises...no extra room charge.


Of course, I do hope you know what a KTV room looks like to understand what I wrote above.

Thanks guys, this wasn't 37d or a ktv type setup. It was exactly like the places I used to visit back around 02 to 05. I haven't been in ages so I thought maybe they had restructured the pricing by adding an additional 100 dollars to the overall fee in the form of a room charge?
