#2 Post at 11-4-2014 22:18  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Depends on what Star level the hotel is.  I have seen anywhere from 100RMB per night several thousand.   You can find several hotels with corporate rates that are well below 1000RMB for 5 star level.

Just too little control of your circumstances in China for me and I never slept well, wondering if either I was going to get robbed or jumped during the night.

#6 Post at 23-6-2014 09:44  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L So, you are saying the situation is getting worse,..even in ShenZhen.  I've known people who have been jumped/robbed in the hooker alley but has never heard of anyone being jumped by a hooker in their own hotel room.  Were you afraid that the hooker may be in cooperation with criminals that when you are doing an overnight and unsuspecting, she would open the hotel door to let the criminals in to rob you?  Given the crackdown in DG, I would be more afraid of cops busting in to arrest you/extort you for money.  Opinions?
