A flicker of hope after the month long raid on CP came yesterday. Many veggie KTVs and even PZL footie massage opened for 3 hours and then closed shop. They increased the price to 89 RMB an hour briefly for those three hours and then they closed down. This is a precursor of what might happen when and if CP comes back to life again- things will get more expensive across the board. It is unknown why the closed down after three hours of operation, or why some veggie ktv's and real KTVs are spreading rumors that they will open soon, but nothing ever materializes and their doors are still closed. Some speculate that it's a ploy to retain girls in CP and give them a glimpse of hope that CP will come back to normal again.

However, many of the regular girls, about 70% of them have all left CP. Some are liquidating their clothing stores which cannot survive in this condition, while others are going back home to wait and see what happens next.

I got a wechat message from a Sauna manager, who use to work at Jin Lang Hotel Sauna and he moved to the new hotel right across the Penn and he said that he could help me arrange girls outside of Sauna to my hotel room. When I told him that cops are checking hotel rooms as well, he said "well, I'm just in charge of arranging girls to your room, I cannot guarantee anything after that"

So as the month of March as begun, CP is still on life support at this time. The positive thing is that tons of girls are all walking around CP with nothing to do. So if you have an apartment in CP and  you meet a nice girl on the streets, I'm sure some action can be arranged. However, without your own apartment, I believe that the environment is still not conducive for us mongers to attain any fun at this moment.

Hopefully this month of March will be pivotal in the government slowly allowing the trade to come back to life again. We can only hope and pray....

It's pretty much the same in SZ. Most of the larger massage joints have stopped offering HJ services as well. The regular big saunas like water cube have moved their "oil massage" girls to offer only regular oil massages.

My contacts are telling me that it's the same in the outskirts in buji and longhua and only regulars are offered HJ services when FS used to be available. My regulars there have also stopped going to hotel rooms as they Are being checked even if both are registered. It seems you need a marriage certificate in order to prevent being questioned further, but I'm not able to confirm this .

So an apartment? How hard would that be to arrange for a HKer? Must be some places available at good weekly rates since all the girls have left. Any suggestion AD?
